HAMILTON, N.Y.  - Colgate University senior forward Pat Campolieta has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week in men’s basketball.

Campolieta posted his ninth career double-double in Colgate’s opening season 99-87 win over Long Island University.  He scored a team-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against the Blackbirds.

Campolieta made 7-of-16 field goals and was 10-of-13 from the free throw line.  He added three assists.

Campolieta is currently in 14^th place in career scoring for the Raiders with 1,227 points.  He needs 18 points in Colgate’s home opener against Northern Arizona on Wednesday night for 13^th place.
