COLGATE BASKETBALL EMBARKS ON THREE-GAME ROAD TRIP

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Colgate University men's basketball team tips off a rugged three-game road trip Tuesday night, when the Red Raiders meet Arizona State at the Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona. Game time is 9 p.m. EST.

Following the Arizona State contest, Colgate will face Northern Arizona on Sat., Nov. 25 and Syracuse on Tues., Nov. 28, before returning home to face Ithaca College on Thurs., Nov. 30.

The Red Raiders (1-0) opened their season last Friday night with a 99-65 win over Hobart College. Junior Pat Campolieta led the attack with 18 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore Dave Hardy added a career-high 16 points and sophomore Tim Sullivan had a career-high 14 points.

Arizona State is 2-1 with wins over Winthrop (76-68) and Southern Utah (94-72) following an opening season loss against Tulsa (69-67). The Sun Devils are paced by Donnell Knight (16.3), Shawn Redhage (16.0), Awvee Storey (15.7) and Alton Mason (14.0).

Arizona State and Colgate are meeting for the first time, however, the Red Raiders have faced Sun Devil coach Rob Evans once before when he was at Ole Miss. Colgate defeated Ole Miss, 53-51, in the first round of the Super Chevy Shootout at Iowa City in 1995-96.
