COLGATE GOLF PLACES 10th AT REHOBOTH BEACH INVITATIONAL

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.-The Colgate golf team placed 10th out of 14 teams at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational Monday with a combined score of 625 at Kings Creek Country Club.

Rutgers won the one-day event with a team score of 602 and Thomas Blankvoort of George Washington earned medalist honors with a 141. 

Sophomore Sean Cusick (Westwood, Mass.) tied for 20th with a total of 153. Junior Jesse Smith (Northfield, Mass.) fired a one-day total of 155 for a share of 27th. Senior captain Dan Cappucci (Lincoln, Mass.) tied for 32nd with a 158. 

Sophomore Josh Polsinelli (Kansas City, Mo.) fired a 160 for a share of 43rd while classmate Ben Selberg (Englewood, Colo.) came in a tie for 52nd with a 162.

The Raiders will compete in the Patriot League Championships at the U.S. Military Academy Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. Saturday, April 20-Sunday, April 21.
