COLGATE GOLF PLACES 17th AT PRINCETON INVITATIONAL

PRINCETON, N.J.-
The Colgate golf team placed 17th out of 20 teams at the Princeton Invitational Saturday with a combined score of 612 at Springdale Golf Club.

Penn State won the two-day event with a team score of 569 and Tim Pemberton of William and Mary and Andrew Svoboda of St. John
's tied for top honors with 137s. 

Senior captain Dan Cappucci (Lincoln, Mass.) led the way for the Raiders with a two-day total of 149 for a share of 31st. Junior Jesse Smith (Northfield, Mass.) fired a two-day total of 152 for a share of 52nd. 

Sophomore Sean Cusick (Westwood, Mass.) tied for 70th with a total of 155 while sophomore Ben Selberg (Englewood, Colo.) came in a tie for 78th with a 156. 

The Raiders will compete in the Rehoboth Beach Invitational hosted by George Washington University on Monday, April 15.
