COLGATE GOLF PLACES SEVENTH AT DREW UPTON TIGER GOLF CLASSIC

Smith finishes second at the two-day event

TOWSON, Md.-
The Colgate golf team placed seventh out of 20 teams at the Drew Upton Tiger Golf Classic Sunday with a combined score of 599 at Great Hope Golf Club. 

Loyola College won the two-day event with a team score of 578 and Billy Hurley of Navy took home medalist honors with a 139. Colgate junior Jesse Smith (Northfield, Mass.) was one shot off the mark with a two-day total of 140 for second place.

Sophomore Sean Cusick (Westwood, Mass.) tied for 33rd with a total of 151and senior captain Dan Cappucci (Lincoln, Mass.) finished in a tie for 38th with a 152.

Sophomore Josh Polsinelli (Kansas City, Mo.) came in in a tie for 58th with a 156 while Ben Selberg (Englewood, Colo.) placed in a tied for 87th with a 161.

The Raiders travel to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Navy Invitational at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club April 6-7.
