"Ask Dave" Feature

Question - I am wondering why the school has gone from playing teams such as Duke, Army, Navy, etc. to playing Central Conn., etc.?

Dave - I would love to have one of those schools on our schedule every year. Because we are a need based aid program we do not count as a bowl eligible win if they were to defeat us because of that they will not schedule us.

Question - Over the years when I come to campus it is unually on a weekend. On most occasions when I walk into Huntington to see the Athletic Hall of Honor and the murals on the wall - the area is locked - why?

Dave - Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It should be open everyday.

Question - Why not schedule more games in the big alumni centers - New York, Boston, D.C.?

Dave - We play Fordham every other year in NY same with Georgetown in DC.  We are talking with Harvard and Brown about games beginning 2011 and beyond.
