LEWISBURG, PA - The Colgate men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished a very successful weekend at Bucknell University in the Patriot League championships.  The teams combined to break 21 records and earned three first place finishes. 

James Hadley took top honors in the 100 yard butterfly with a pool record time of 50.47.  He was followed closely by teammate Matt Vuturo who finished in a time of 50.66.

Sophomore Rich Derrick took top honors in the 1650 freestyle with a Bucknell University pool record time of 16:02.96.

Junior Alice Garnett garnered the only victory for the Colgate women's squad in the 400 yard individual medley.  Her time of 4:27.74 is a new pool record at Bucknell.

200 yard men's medley relay: Schierhold, Hadley, Vuturo and Jachno (1:34.41, new school record)
500 yard men's freestyle: Rich Derrick (4:39.37, new school record)
200 yard women's individual medley: Alice Garnett (2:08.09, held the pool record until the finals)
50 yard women's freestyle: Chrissy Zaika (24.31, new school and freshman record - 24.27 in the finals)
50 yard men's freestyle: James Hadley (21.06, new school record - 20.89 in the finals)
200 yard women's breaststroke: Kim Hayes (2:24.54, new freshman record), Meghan Binder (2:23.89, new school record)
100 yard men's breaststroke: Matt Vuturo (56.52, new school record)
100 yard men's backstroke: Mike Schierhold (52.69, new school record), Tom Noel (53.39, new freshman record)
