HAMILTON, N.Y. – Pat Campolieta scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Colgate to an 85-48 non-conference win over Hobart College Tuesday night at Cotterell Court.

            Colgate (6-2), returning to the hardwood after a 10-day break for final exams, has won four straight games for its best start since the 1992-93 season.  The Raiders have defeated Hobart (3-5) 15 straight times in the series.

            Also in double figures for Colgate were Mark Linebaugh and Howard Blue with 12 points apiece and Tim Sullivan with 10 as all 16 Raiders who dressed for the game scored.

            Hobart held a 16-15 lead with 14:11 left in the first half, before Colgate went on an 11-2 run to open an eight-point advantage with 11:24 remaining.  Blue with a pair of buckets led the spurt for the Raiders.

            Colgate held a 42-35 halftime lead before scoring the first 14 points of the second half to blow the contest wide open.  Hobart’s first basket in the second half came with 14 minutes remaining.

            Davidek Herron with 15 points and 12 rebounds and Joe Corbett with 14 points and 12 rebounds led Hobart.
