HAMILTON, N.Y. – Three Colgate University football players have been named to the 2001 Football Gazette preseason All-America team.

            Senior offensive guard Ken Kubec (Parma Heights, OH) was a second team selection, while junior free safety Ameer Riley (Norwood, MA) was named to the third team as a punt returner.

            Junior quarterback Tom McCune (Hookstown, PA) received honorable mention recognition, while Riley earned honorable mention honors at defensive back.

            The Raiders open their season on Thursday, August 30 at Villanova.
