TINSON NAMED TO ECAC DIVISION I-AA ALL-STAR FOOTBALL TEAM

            CENTERVILLE, MA. -- Colgate University senior Brandon Tinson (Pottstown, PA/Pottstown H.S.) has been named first team on the 2000 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division I-AA All-Star football team.

            The 5-foot-10, 181-pound defensive back made 47 tackles for the 7-4 Red Raiders, including one interception, one quarterback sack, two tackles for minus yardage, seven pass breakups and three blocked punts.

            Tinson tied the NCAA Divsion I-AA national record for most opponent’s kicks blocked in a game when he blocked three punts in Colgate’s 30-27 overtime win against Towson.

            The two-time all-Patriot League performer, finished his career with 227 tackles and 12 interceptions.
