WHTK (1280
AM) IN ROCHESTER WILL CARRY SEVEN COLGATE
FOOTBALL GAMES
HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Colgate University has
announced that WHTK (1280 AM) in Rochester, N.Y.
will carry seven Red Raider football games this
fall. Colgate’s flagship station WKXZ in
Norwich, N.Y. will provide the feed for the
broadcasts.
“We are very excited about our relationship
with WHTK,” said Colgate athletics director
Mark Murphy. “WHTK is widely regarded as the
best sports station in Rochester. We have
numerous alumni and fans in Western New York who
will be excited about the opportunity to follow
our football team. I think WHTK listeners will
enjoy the chance to follow one of the top I-AA
football programs in the country.”
WHTK will carry the Connecticut (Sept. 9),
Fordham (Sept. 23 - tentative), Towson (Sept.
30), Cornell (Oct. 14), Lehigh (Nov. 4), Holy
Cross (Nov. 11) and Bucknell (Nov. 18) games. |
