HAMILTON, N.Y. – Colgate University quarterback Tom McCune has been named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Red Raiders' 34-6 victory over Princeton.

The 6-foot-2, 201-pound sophomore accounted for all five Colgate touchdowns as the Red Raiders (4-1) raced to their fourth straight win. He connected on 16-of-27 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns and carried 11 times for 58 yards and two touchdowns. He threw touchdown passes of 28, 28 and 15 yards and ran 26 and four yards for touchdowns.

McCune, the highest-rated quarterback in the Patriot League with a 138.0 rating, leads the league in total offense (257.0 yards per game) and passing yards per game (243.0). He has rushed for a touchdown in each of Colgate's five games, while passed for a touchdown in four straight games.
